About Us

English Rose Stationery was formed after the wedding of a friend, and the funeral of a family member.  These events required stationery and we took it upon ourselves to do the stationery for both.   Having an extensive knowledge of Desktop Publishing, Multimedia and various graphic design software packages, along with a sound administrative work history, it was an easy transition starting a business that focused on the things we were passionate about.

Everyone loves to party.  So with our skills in graphic design, scrapbooking, sewing and general craft, it seemed only logical to create a business that combined these skills.  We provide a wide range of services that varies from function to function.  The enjoyment we get from creating those special touches for that special look and style, really makes what we do quite satisfying.  Everyone who sees our work says 'Wow!"

The funeral cards we made for the funeral were commented on by the celebrant who stated that we had done a better job than they could have done.  Calling the celebrant a week later we asked her what she meant by that and asked what sort of cards they supplied at funerals and at what cost.  It was then we made the decision to make a business out of our skills.  We wanted to offer something different to our clients that they wouldn't get from other printers.  Realizing that other printing places didn't offer those personal touches, or offer anything out of the ordinary.   We took it upon ourselves to create something different.  For instance many of our print jobs have a three dimensional aspect not undertaken by many formal printing establishments.

Our memorial cards represent a celebration of one's life while at the same time being respectful of their passing.  We try to reflect that life as if the person where placing the order themselves... One they would be proud to hand out to their friends when the time comes to say "goodbye."   Which we also create through our visual DVD Memorial Presentations.

English Rose Stationery seemed the logical name to use in light of our loved one's funeral.  Our mother was English, and she loved red roses.  It was her loss that gave credence to our venture.

How would we be different from other printing services.  Firstly we will listen to what our customers want and work with their ideas.  We would make ourselves available during the day, evenings and on weekends.  Not limiting our hours to regular work business practices.   Above all we would give honest, sound advice, friendly service, and respect in all areas of our business.
